Handling, reconstitution and storage
Store the sealed vial of lyophilized LL-37 at -20°C, protected from light. Allow it to reach room temperature before opening so that moisture does not condense onto the powder.
Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water directed down the inside wall of the vial rather than onto the cake, and swirl instead of shaking — mechanical agitation is the most common cause of degradation in peptide handling.
